About the Artist: Catalina Beres
Catalina participates in many global art fairs within New York, Miami, Paris and Copenhagen. She is a full-time painter and illustrator with an Interior Design background. A mix of Pop Art and Expressionism is the formula to her style of work, whether within her portraits or landscapes. The artwork and story of Jean Michael Basquiat truly inspires Catalina, as well as Caravaggio's Medusa painting. She chooses to let her intuition lead her as she creates, opposed to starting with a structured plan. Her artwork speaks to the theme of authenticity as her goal is to live her life in that same way.
