About the Artist: Chris Thixton
Chris Thixton is a full-time freelance professional artist who creates figurative images using both acrylic and oil paint, as well as watercolor. He has obtained his Master’s in Fine Art at the New York Studio School and Bachelor’s at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. His process is somewhat impulsive. The use of color is an important factor in his work and he admires the feeling of darkness within a painting, referencing Goya. Other skills from Chris consist of photography, music production and curation.
