About the Artist: Francine Zaslow
Francine is a 30-year veteran photographer who works with both commercial and fine art clients. She feels each end of the spectrum informs the other as her personal explorations open creative doors and shine new light on her style. She art directs, curates and sources props while using custom paints and backdrops during her art-making process. Francine is known in the industry for her rich lighting and attention to fine detail. Her work often involves substantial collaboration with stylists, chefs and others who help bring her vision to life.
She has participated in shows at the Digital Silver and Leica Galleries. She also won awards from both Communication Arts and PDN Magazine for her stunning original images. Francine draws inspiration from masterful photographers such as Albert Watson, Irving Penn, Robert Mapplethorpe and her very own Mother's experimental work as a Sculptor. Francine continues to expand upon her already voluminous body of work.
