Jungle Safari Fantasy
This bedroom mural and ceiling installation was created for a residential Nursery Room. The home owner needed this project to be completed within two weeks for the arrival of her baby.

Given only the 5 animals she wanted included and a scenic sunset view that she adored, we executed the full concept of this sixth-dimensional space just in time for the baby’s arrival.

Completed 14 days, started in May of 2023.

A grand guest bedroom with an on-suite bathroom. Features an arched window, hard wood floors and high ceilings (approx. 12 ft)

Coating of 4 walls with mixed media paint (spray, acrylic and interior wall paint)
Installing a custom-made floral chandelier, adding glow-in-the-dark details.

The African Bird
We researched and added this unique bird to the group of animals in the scene, a species specifically found in Africa. Such a colorful and eclectic character called the “Rainbow Roller”.
The Zebra
The space already had multiple images of zebra’s throughout and we placed this character on the adjacent wall, to cohesively curate the artwork within the room. Disguised in the nature, this animal is intentionally staged to look back at the viewer and invite guests into the Fantasy of it all.
The Giraffes
Our client requested to incorporate at least one “Mom & Me” duo of the animals, the giraffes are standout characters of this idea. Utilizing the height in the space; the adult giraffe is larger than the scene itself and only appears from it’s long neck, hovering over the baby giraffe which sits below within the field of nature.
The Koala
This character of the scene was made with a medium to high relief texture, encouraging interaction with the mural. Koala’s are full of fur and this was painted to look very fluffy and inviting.
The Elephants
We chose the elephants for another “Mom & Me” moment as they’re staged in the corner of the room. This placement of the animals is actually the center of the story alongside the focal of the window tree, to connect the continuous backdrop of the warm sunset clouds on all adjacent walls.
More Details
Each hand-painted flower and many hanging 3D flowers were detailed with a seamless application of “glow in the dark” stickers in their center. The faux flowers were sourced online and hand-embroidered into heart-shaped wreaths, to create a whimsical custom ceiling fixture. This “Jungle Safari” themed room remains a fantasy even at night.
We also gifted our client a custom set of 11x14 inch puzzles from the project for the family’s keepsake.
